What documentation do we need to obtain to make the marriage legal?

We recommend you contact your local Register Office to find out what documentation is required for your county. This will include a Certificate of No Impediment for each of you, which states that you are free to marry. Additionally, we recommend you contact the Turkish embassy in your country, and then your embassy in Turkey, to obtain details of the current requirements.
